This site is run by one person, it stores as little as possible, and it uses no cookies and no third-party trackers. Here is everything, in plain language.
Who runs this site

What is collected
1. Your email address — only if you give it. If you subscribe, your email address is stored so the letters can be sent to you. Nothing else is asked for: no name, no company, no profile. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by entering the address and confirming it from the email that follows. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything that was sent before.
Subscribing also records when you confirmed, and which form on the site you used. The first is required to prove the consent was given; the second exists so I can tell which part of the site is worth keeping.
2. Server logs — automatically, for everyone. Like every web server, this one records each request: the IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page, and the browser’s user-agent string. These logs are processed into visitor statistics. The legal basis is legitimate interest — keeping the site running, seeing whether anyone reads it, and detecting abuse.
These logs are not linked to subscribers, not used to build profiles, and not used to identify anyone.
Who else can see it
- Brevo (Sendinblue, France) sends the letters and stores the subscriber list. Data is stored in the EU.
- DENINET Kft. (Hungary) hosts the site and its server.
Both act on instructions only. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with anyone else, ever.
How long it is kept
- Your email address: until you unsubscribe, or until this project’s letters end for good — whichever comes first. Unsubscribing deletes the address; a minimal record that a consent was withdrawn may be kept, because that is what proves it was honored.
- Server logs: [🔶 30–90 nap — a tárhely tényleges beállítása szerint]. The aggregated statistics derived from them contain no addresses and are kept longer.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what is stored about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask for it in a portable form, or object to the processing. Write to rain@mindeverest.com and you will get an answer within 30 days.
Unsubscribing is one click, in the footer of every letter. No reason needed, no question asked.
If you think your data is being handled wrongly, you can complain to the Hungarian supervisory authority: Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., naih.hu.
Cookies and trackers
This site sets no cookies. It loads no analytics scripts, no advertising, no social buttons, and no fonts or files from other companies’ servers. Statistics come from the server’s own logs, which is why there is no cookie banner here: there is nothing to consent to.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects you, the change will be described here with its date, and subscribers will be told in the next letter.
